The BARRIE KENNEL AND OBEDIENCE CLUB, INC. is a non-profit organization incorporated under the laws of the Province of Ontario, and is dedicated to the welfare of purebred dogs in general and to the education of the
public on all aspects of purebred dogs.
As part of the group's educational mandate, members participate in independent public displays and special events. Currently, BARRIE KENNEL AND OBEDIENCE CLUB, INC. is active in the opposition of Breed Specific Legislation as contained in the Government's Bill 132, passed in 2005. The Club is governed by the rules and regulations of the Canadian Kennel Club, Inc. The membership continues to support up and coming junior handlers across the province in a variety of ways. |
2008 All Breed Conformation Show The 2008 Barrie Kennel Club CKC All Breed Conformation Show will be held August 2, 3 and 4, 2008 at ODAS Park, Orillia.
